Apropos Motorhomes for Sale in the UK

Filed under: Adventure Stuff, Vintage Cars + More — admin @ 2:04 am

Due to the challenging economic times lingering, holidaying in the United Kingdom has developed into a well-liked choice lately - permitting individuals to save cash as a substitute to going abroad on a costly vacation. Still, is it really that less expensive to holiday in the UK? Motels are usually more expensive within the United Kingdom than wherever else in mainland Europe, so the debate that it’s cheaper is rather questionable. In my view, a motorhome / caravan holiday is one of the cheapest methods to take a break - no hotel costs whatsoever. There are plenty of motorhomes for sale in the UK. Perhaps leasing is a good idea to simply check out the concept of a motorhome vacation first to see if you like it. I know that many of my mates who try out such a vacation rarely look back and are all the time planning their next motorhome or caravan vacation!

As for myself, my very first motorhome or caravan holiday was a short journey around the surrounding counties of my local area. I simply needed to get my confidence up prior to undertaking a bigger vacation. My last journey saw me travel all the way to Bulgaria - now that’s what I call a holiday!

Seeking Work Abroad: Mixing Adventure with Advancing Your Career

Filed under: Adventure Stuff — admin @ 9:10 pm

Working in the Land of Smiles as a foreigner typically means assuming an English teaching position. While there are well paid English teaching jobs in institutions like Chulalongkorn or Thammasat, the vast majority of such positions offer little pay.

In fact, don’t anticipate a decent salary for any job requiring skills, teaching or otherwise. It sounds like bad news, but in reality if you intend to live in the Land of Smiles for some time, such poorly paid jobs aren’t too much of a problem since the cost of living is very low in Thailand, the infrastructure is perhaps the best in South East Asia, it’s a friendly and safe country, and you can still crawl up the career ladder because you can gain a great work experience in Thailand.

Yet there is an obscured problem that slowly shows itself after some time: you’ve been staying in the Land of Smiles for 1 or 2 years, and you’ve accumulated great work experience, your pay isn’t great, but then again the cost of living is low so that’s OK. HOWEVER, do you know what’s coming next? : You’ve been unable to save much money while you’ve been staying in Thailand. Airfares look ridiculously expensive in comparison to your salary in Thailand. The price of things back home begins to scare you when thinking about your money earned in Thailand. This dilemma hits a lot of foreigners in Thailand a year or two after starting work there. Long- term plans can often be put on hold since you don’t have the nest egg of money to put into action any long-term plan like purchasing a house, purchasing a car, or tieing the knot..

So, important point : when thinking about working in the Land of Smiles, it’s smart to also remember that you will find it very difficult to save meaningful quantities of hard cash when thinking about the costs of your home country.

Even so, not everything revolves around money, does it? You can have a great time in Thailand, perhaps acquire the language, make new friends, travel around Thailand when you have time off work, and gain some precious work experience.

So what kind of job positions can you secure in Thailand? Browsing jobs-quality.com - a website listing jobs around the Chonburi and Bangkok districts of Thailand - they have listed Human Resource work placements, Administration job positions, production supervisor jobs in Thailand, safety officer work placements etc. Essentially the types of work placements you’d find in your home country. Even though the majority of these jobs may be seeking a Thai national who speaks Thai, you will still find English-speaking requirements for job posts within many global companies based in Thailand.
